Manufacturing Process
We analyse all our manufacturing operations and strive for continuous environmental improvement with particular emphasis on waste elimination, re-use and recycling.
We operate a full energy management system and have invested in energy efficient high speed air jet looms and modern compressed air management systems.
Our finishing plant uses surface water from the Pennine hills and trade effluent is well within consent limits and getting cleaner all the time. Our European manufacturing facility benefits from green heating generated from burning waste wood, rainwater purification for factory sanitation, and an air re-circulation system which recycles 75% of heat.
